Learn how to develop your creative eye and identify elements necessary to capturing good images in this workshop with renowned architectural photographer Albert Lim.
The photowalk will take participants on a refreshing exploration of the multi-faceted spaces, light, shadow and textures of our Central Business District during a quiet weekend.
This workshop is for anyone interested in the field of architectural photography or in need of refining their current architectural portfolio.

About Albert Lim

Architectural Photographer Albert Lim

Albert Lim KS is an acclaimed Singapore-based photographer whose images have been published extensively in 'Architectural Review', 'Singapore Architect' and 'Monument Australia'. His photographs has illustrated numerous books including SCDA Architects II: The Architecture of Soo Chan (2013), BEDMaR & Shi: 5 in FIVE (2011), Kerry Hill: Crafting Modernism (2014), The Modern Thai House (2012) and Contemporary Houses in the Philippines (2014).

Important Information:
· Bring a camera (Compact/mirrorless/DSLR) of any brand (preferably interchangeable camera with wide angle lens)
· Have basic photography knowledge (i.e. familiar with exposure, shutter speed, using camera in manual mode)
· Interested Participants are encouraged to submit 1-2 architectural photos. Albert can assist to provide constructive comments on improving the images. Please email your files of not more than 2MB each to events@rubix-cube.com by 23 September Friday.

A Fringe Event of Archifest 2016:

Archifest is an annual public festival for Singapore to celebrate architecture and the built environment, is organised by the Singapore Institute of Architects, in partnership with Singapore Institute of Landscape Architects. 2016 sees the festival celebrating its 10thanniversary, which will be held from 23 September to 9 October 2016, at Raffles Place Park.
